We knew this would be a long day with a 3+ hour bus ride to Cairo and a 3+ hour bus ride back. While the Pyramids themselves were neat, being there wasn't. We couldn't simply enjoy taking it all in because we spent all our time fighting off people trying to sell us stuff. Ann was able to get away from them by going inside the Pyramid itself, which she really enjoyed. Our lunch cruise on the Nile River was nice. I enjoyed seeing the city from this angle and got lots of pictures. Overall we're glad we went to Cairo, but we wouldn't do it again.
